Who:  Students in K-8

(Kindergartners who wish to join should be able to sit quietly for an hour.)

Why:  To learn chess and to play better chess

• The Brevard Chess Center is having tournaments in August and September - www.BrevardChess.com .
• If you are interested, our Coach Bortzner holds Saturday workshops in Satellite Beach at the Brevard Chess Center.
• The next Scholastic Tournament is not yet determined . Go to www.SpaceCoastChess.org to register or for more info contact me.  Remember that you must be a member of USCF to enter.
• Congratulations to Ignacio for playing and representing OSS in the National Scholastic Tournament held in Texas this past December.  We know he exemplified courage, respect. humility, diligence and kindness. We are so proud of Ignacio's effort and determination.
